Our Social Responsibility

This statement shows a commitment to responsible sourcing practices and acknowledges that it is an ongoing process that requires continuous improvement.
The company recognizes the importance of ethical, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable practices and is dedicated to progressing on this journey.

Our soft signage is made from recycled polyester.

The use of soft signage, or fabric-based signs and banners, can be a socially responsible choice that saves time and money while also being environmentally friendly. Our soft signage material is made recycled polyester and is used for temporary or semi-permanent displays in retail stores, trade shows, and events. By using dye sublimation printing, the resulting signage is lightweight, portable, and easy to install.

Transporting soft signage over traditional rigid signage can be a socially responsible choice that can reduce the environmental impact of transportation. Soft signage can be more compact and easier to transport than traditional rigid signage materials like metal or plastic. This can result in lower fuel consumption, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and less waste from packaging materials. Additionally, soft signage can be folded or rolled up for easy storage and reuse, which can further reduce the need for new materials and transportation. Overall, transporting soft signage over rigid signage can be a more sustainable and socially responsible choice in terms of both environmental and economic impact.

Fabrics

Using fabrics made from recycled PET for backlit or Standard Frontlit stretch frames (SEG graphics) is a socially responsible choice that promotes sustainability. Our fabrics for these applications are 100% made from recycled PET, which is the material used in single-use plastic bottles. In addition, other fabrics we use for banners, backdrops and interiors are either made from 100% recycled PET or have a high percentage of recycled yarn.

Our goal is to continue sourcing polyester fabric made from 100% recycled PET, which helps to reduce the demand for new raw materials and decrease the environmental impact of textile production.

Using recycled PET fabrics for our products is a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility in our industry.

Inks we use

We use Oeko-Tex ECOPASSPORT certified inks showing a commitment to using environmentally friendly materials and ensuring that the ink used in the printing process has minimal impact on the environment. This certification helps to promote sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices and provides assurance to consumers that the products they purchase are safe and free from harmful substances.

Packaging

In order to deliver our fabrics to our clients, we take great care in our packaging process. Our fabrics are interlaced with sustainable paper and then placed in a protective bag before being boxed with instructions. All of our packaging materials, including interlacing paper, instruction cards, and boxes, are sourced from FSC-certified sources to ensure that they come from sustainable paper and card sources.

Our protective bags are made from vegetable-based materials and are completely free of plastic. They are certified as combustible, which means that they will break down with organic waste to create compost. Additionally, we use a vegetable gum paper tape to seal our card boxes, which is also produced from sustainable sources. Our commitment to using environmentally friendly packaging materials helps to reduce waste and minimize our impact on the environment.

Transfer paper

When using transfer paper for sublimation we use paper produced from sustainable and controlled sources with certifications like FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) Chain of Custody. These certifications ensure that the forests and the products made from them are sustainably managed, minimizing the impact on the environment. By using paper with FSC and PEFC certifications, we are helping to support responsible forest management, which benefits both the environment and the people who rely on the forests for their livelihoods. Overall, choosing paper produced from sustainable and controlled sources with FSC and PEFC certifications is our commitment to social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

Sewing

Using a 100% recycled premium polyester core spun sewing thread for finishing our fabrics is another step we take towards being socially responsible and environmentally sustainable. This thread is made from recycled polyester, reducing the demand for new raw materials and decreasing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. By using recycled materials, we also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption associated with the production of new thread. Overall, this is an eco-friendly option that aligns with our commitment to sustainability.

Recycling

We consider it crucial to provide a sustainable solution for the disposal of our fabrics and papers. Our transfer paper is collected and recycled by a local card and paper recycler to ensure minimal waste.

Furthermore, all of our fabrics and substrates, including acoustic boards, have been assessed and approved by BlockTexx for recycling. At our Eagle Farm facility, we serve as a collection point for our fabrics, which are then shredded and converted by BlockTexx. The resulting PET is polymerised into high-quality S.O.F.T. branded rPET plastic pellets and polyester fibre, suitable for use in textiles, packaging, and building products. This closed-loop process is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management.

In the last year, we have diverted 12400 kg from landfill.
The actual dates are from August 22 – July 23
